Appearance: Arekusu has light blue eyes with yellow edges around the pupils. His skin is pale in nature but has a gold tan to it from all the sun during training. Arekusu has a broad build but due to life hasn’t put on any major bulk.

Notable features: Arekusu has odd circular scar marks about the size of a large coin. Three are on his back, along his spine. One on the side of his neck and the last around his belly button. (Such as body type, scars or other notable features.)

The Heart

Personality: Arekusu has no memory of a human life or even of a plus Soul life. At the age of 10 he suddenly woke up in a storage basement and met a family that ran a delivery company on behalf of a much larger noble family.
Due to this his character is quite naive at times but his muscles and mind seem to pick up elements like a lost muscle memory. Due to this he can sometime get bored and wonder off from lessons other times he can be very frustrated with writing and complex words so he can come across quiet and withdrawn or a total trouble maker (Brief description of personality, a paragraph or more.)

Likes:Physical activity. Quiet and patience from people. Enjoys most animals especially dogs.

Dislikes: Cats, loud people, reading and writing, family.

The Tale

History: Arekusu woke in a dark basement, just like that. His eyes opened seeing nothing but feeling cold wood against his cheek and bare arms and legs. Pulling himself up it seemed he was wearing a tight black pair of shorts and shirt but nothing else (like cycling gear).

Crashing into crates and knocking down boxes a beam light struck his eyes like a tunnel to heaven except so sudden it hurt. After the brief moment he was in a storage room and a man with a bat suddenly jumped in front of him and knocked him out again.

The next time he woke a little girl perhaps six or seven was wiping blood from his brow and an older woman was yelling at a man he assumed had knocked him out. He wasn’t bound but as his eyes darted about the girl suddenly moved away and all focus was on him.

“Name?” the man asked moving in front of his family. Arekusu blinked and looked for a voice. None found him for a moment and the question quickly became his own.
“Name?” He croaked. He didn’t know what a name was, or what he was. Thoughts happened in words and it seemed like nature took hold and he knew thing but not how. “Don’t know, don’t know what. Don’t know how. Don’t know when. Don’t know why… Why?” Blinking he looked at his… Hand.
The woman kicked the man and came to Arekusu with some water.
“Look what you’ve done to the poor boy. He’s probably just a new soul, perhaps a coma patient in the human world. Lord knows how he ended up in the store room but he is no threat.” Giving him the water Arekusu stared at it and then looked at the woman curiously. “You drink it.” The woman gestured the action and Arekusu drank the water.

From that moment he was part of a delivery company. The pair seemed to know allot about Rukongai and even about Shinigami. They were the end of a family of nobles running this business for hundreds of years. Arekusu learned and was given his name as if he was one of their own children. The rest was a boring life, though he was considered a bit of a dullard due to his knowledge for he age he looked.
Once he turned thirteen he took a test as part of the family and it showed he had dormant traces of Reiatsu. So after a year he tried his luck applying for the shinigami. It seemed like the best way to find himself. Perhaps there was something in the human world that might give him a clue.
