Academy Courtyard

He made a small sound when she ran her hands through his hair, his mask moving slightly in the approximation of a smile that she would understand. When she gave her orders, he stood up, easily towering over most of the students here. It wasn't hard to see him, but at the same time, the eye would want to look away from him as though it didn't Want to see this being. This being said, when he watched Izanami move off on her own, he stayed where he was for a few seconds, his gaze resting on each being that he felt at least a little difference in power from the rest. His eyes focused on a female for a few seconds, taking a slight interest in her before his eyes were roaming again.

"And now... the fun begins."

His movements were quick, but controlled as he moved through the crowd. Despite his taller than average height, he moved easily through the others, some parting for him, the others not even noticing him until he was past. He moved over to Takara, stopping next to her for a moment and looking at her.

"When we can. I want to spar with you."

His voice was smooth, commanding, but this time, he didn't use it as a command. It was more of a suggestive tone, as though asking her permission. He didn't wait for the answer before moving over to Izanami quickly, standing behind her like a really really tall, independent shadow.

"I am Yomotsu-Inu. I will join whichever division suites me the best in the end."

His voice rose above the other voices rather easily, and with his tall stature, he was easy to pick out as the speaker.

Kaya sighed heavily, once again hurs was overstepping his boundaries but at this point getting angry at would do no good. Considering how Hurs' already broke the ice he thought to himself that he might as well roll with it. And hey while Hurs was a bit of a weirdo he was at least he seemed friendlier than the other weirdos here. Kaya never really liked hanging out with a lot of Academy students as a lot of them were a bit too cocky and annoying for his taste. Considering the nature of their work he felt like it would be a pain to make too many friends anyway. With that he walked in front of the other students and introduced himself.

"Yo my name's Kaya Aaliah, let's all try to get along."

With that he walked back to where he was standing next to Hurs

"Do you always energetic dude?" Kaya said shacking his head at hurs. No doubt this man would drag him into some deep shit today.

Seeing that everyone had introduced themselves or either chose not too. Hideo decided to move this party along. The class was set to begin and they had waited long enough for final clearance to be made from Central 46.

Hideo tapped his zanpaktou on the ground, the sound echoing in the courtyard for several long moments. Behind him, pink doors phased into existence.

"Thank you to those that introduced themselves, its a pleasure to meet you!" Hideo said with a smile, replacing his zanpaktou into his belt now that its task was finished.

"For those who decided not to answer.... you'll find that if similar silence is given to your future superiors... life will not go as smoothly for you." Hideo finished, making it clear that suggestions from superiors of the Gotei 13 were far from voluntary.

"Now, what you see here is one of two Senkaimon located in the Seireitei. Essentially this is a bridge between our world and the human world. As it is, its the only official way to travel between the two worlds." Hideo started, pointing back at the pink tinged doors that were now starting to open, revealing a wide, empty room with a wooden floor.

"The one we are using today isnt one the one you will always use. There is a special area in the Seireitei that is used specifically for the transport of Shinigami, one most of you will become intimately familiar with the one you see here is a... backup so to speak. now before any of you get any ideas, the kidou corp controls when, where and how these gates open so no one can go willy nilly between dimensions through these gates." Hideo finished, giving the students a moment to collect themselves and also the time to process the information.

"Now, what we are going to do today is give you some hands on expireicne on what exactly you are going to be doing as shinigami. Besides slaying hollows and protecting Soul Society and all of that jazz. So please.. If you will follow me." Hideo said, turning and walking into the room behind him, the rest of the 12th members also following suite.

The students had a choice before them, either stay or go. It was up to them.

Quite the crowd had already gathered up in the courtyard before Janza had arrived. He didn't really pay much attention to them , but he was aware. Instead, he was practicing with the orb as he walked.

The instructor from before said that people generally pictured or felt either the feeling of a river, a fire, or a controlled faucet. But, for him it felt different. It was like a calm ocean... for now... mostly a grayish blue. It was hard to hold onto when looking at it, almost like water itself. Controlling it, now that was another thing. Instead of trying to make a legitimate sphere he decided to play around a bit.

Energy moved around him with a gentle flow. Maybe it was interesting to try and twist the flow around and around itself, but realizing that it was his turn to introduce himself proved too much of a distraction accompanied with a loud crashing sound.

Janza patted down his hair, corrected the scarf around his neck and said, "I'm Janza." He didn't finish with his desired division, but just quietly followed the 12the guys into the room. Maybe theyyy had something fun in mind.

Hurs snorted at Kaya's extremely fitting remark for the current atmosphere in the courtard and simply responded with,

"Because no one else is."

   Hurs nodded his head at various angles to Hideo's rather assertive suggestion of speaking up because he already understood how it was important to get some kind of a name out there. It was important not just for rising through the ranks, but also for the fact that morale was usually much better in groups  that had some sort of hierarchy and sense of familiarity between co-workers or comrades.

 As the 12th division member explained what they were actually doing here, however, Hurs winced from an awkward prodding feeling from the mention of the human world. Memories of unslain metaphorical dragons of work, villainous go-getting fiends, and serpentine women bubbled like surfacing lava into his mind which almost made him sick.

His unfulfilled life and his suicidal mistake reacted with his new confidence that he had gained from his many more years of surviving Rukongai. Which would win out in the end? An inevitable dark expression and sweaty hands from adrenaline and primal fear made him hesitate. He truly was the most complete definition of a ghost. Not only was he actually dead, but his insecure and naieve self had died awhile ago as well. To go to the place where it all started would be most bizarre.

Hurs looked down and then curled his hands into fists.

The hell with it, I'm not going to stop now.

"Let's do this."

he said and walked through the doors determined to face whatever negative feelings and memories his mind was trying to punish him with.

"Blah." He couldn't believe that the female shingami completely,and utter ignore him. But he had guess this is what karma is. If you remember Ryu had completely ignore the shingami from the 12 division because he felt like his none sense he was spouting was complete,and utter bullshit. As a noble family member nobles was allowed to bend the rules,and get away with it because simply they got it like that.

His right hand rested on his Asauchi hilt as his left hand brush through his hair. As he smirk that right the famous Arc famliy smirk before battle or in battle the Noble Family had this unique smirk that inspire the fellow shingami around him. He said," Eh let get this party started." He had follow Anita into the pink wooden door frame sadly he had wish he had learn more kido. But it couldn't be help he would have to defeat whatever lies behind that door.

He took a couple steps forward as he enter into the correct Senkaimon. As he did he said," Come on guys! Let us meet death with a grin on our face."

Hana walked into the Courtyard, where she was instructed to go, completely oblivious to what just happened. She was a tad late and was unaware what was going on. Still adorned in her traditional kimono, she took in her surroundings, in awe with the beauty of the academy and the courtyard, which was bustling with people she has never really met or seen. Even though her expression was calm and stoic, Hana couldnt stop feeling nervous about this whole thing. She finally convinced her parents to pursue this path and the fact that she actually got into the academy, but was she really cut out for the job.

Hana wondered if she would meet or get a chance to talk to people, but she kept her calm composure and just stood there looking around with observing and wandering eyes. She had a habit of not talking to strangers without them talking to her first, that's just how she was generally raised. People around her looked busy, so she disregarded meeting new people and instead headed inside the academy to receive her things and start learning and working.

Hana entered the courtyard. She has finally decided what division she wanted to be under. So she took a deep breath before raising her hand and speaking speaking. "Hello. My name is Kiyohara Hana, youngest daughter of the Kiyohara main family." She said calmly and proudly. "I have been brought up to be honorable, respectful, and kind. Though I come from the first district of Rukongai, that doesnt mean I am ignorant and do not understand what is going on. I want to help others as well as make a true difference. Therefore, I have decided to join the 6th. Please to meet your acquaintance, and thank you." she said respectfully before properly and delicately bowing her thanks.

After introducing herself, she then walked through the pink doors to pass through the dimensional barrier. Hana was excited to get a chance to finally see the human world. She had only heard stories, and has only seen paintings of the human world, but she has always had this curious fascination with the human world, ever since she was little.

The human world? Jack felt anxiety rising up in his chest. He needed a drink. Jack let the others step through the portal, hesitating. He felt a minor headache starting, perhaps the beginnings of a cold? Now that he had a chance to think about it, maybe some fresh air was just what he needed...

Jack could taste the air exchange between the folds of the realms at work. A shiver went down his spine as the echos of some forgotten darkness scratched at his mind. Maybe there would be a chance to grab s souvenir on this little trip.

Kaya was shocked, it would be his first time entering the real world as he was born in the slums of rukongai he had only heard about the human world from friends who had lived there and sometimes if he was lucky enough he'd be able to overhear Shinigami talk about their experiences there while they would patrol the district.  It would be a stretch to say that Kaya had dreamed of visiting the human world all this time but it was true enough that he was curious about it.  Kaya shrugged and decided to walk through the doors

Takezo followed behind the main group of students, still wary of what was going on but content enough to follow through. The man hadnt really explained to them what was going on, and he had an odd feeling about the entire situation.

The others really hadnt questioned anything, why their was a lack of real instructors, or why the annoucement had been so brief in scope in comparison to the other class announcements. Heck, it didnt really sound like the normal person that did the announcements either from what he could tell.

Then came what Hideo said, why would they use the 'backdoor' gate to go to the human world? Without understanding why it also came off as weird...

Regardless of the uneasiness of the situation. Takezo moved forward, he wasnt about to miss out on his chance to see the Human World for the first time, and Hideo seemed to be a nice enough sort. Only time would tell.

Takara followed the one known as Takezo through the portal, preferring to stay behind rather than to be the first through. The man in front of her seemed occupied in his thoughts, but what he was thinking about escaped her.

Their were a few eccentrics among the group, but that was to be expected of senior students. Some of them had come from difficult backgrounds or from the slums, unlike her. She was of noble blood, even though it was minor in nature but the probability of being more fortunate during her life than those that surrounded her was high.

Still, she remained silent as she walked through the gate. Her mind jumping from the thought of her fellows to what lay in store.

I'm home. Janza thought to himself. Not long ago, a decent amount of his peers were dead or dieing around him. But here, back at the academy, everything was calm and normal. Not much had changed as the overall population of students were concerned, but most of those that had died were senior students.

There wasn't anything that Janza could do about what happened currently other than to take care of his own health. Still.. he would take care of this later. With one last glare over his shoulder toward the retreating backs of the shinigami, Janza left for the dorms.

Pluto was finally back home, having left the horrific night of blood behind in the world of the living. The white haired man did not appear fazed by it all, but there was some signs of discontent lingering. In some ways the man felt as if he was used as a guinea pig. A mere tool to conduct an experiment under the guise of an educational exercise. The man with crimson eyes stepped out of the Senkaimon gate, before inhaling and exhaling. Immediately he could feel, smell and notice the difference compared to the world of the living. A thought was spared for Anira, one of his class mates, who may have had her last fight. But the Shinigami was certain that the Junibantai will do what was necessary to save her life. Besides, it was there fault that she ended up in the state that she was in.

At the same time Pluto felt as if he has had enough of being around the academy, There was something currently resonating within him. He was overflowing with energy that kept recycling, due to not being able to properly free itself. This was agony for the man, feeling trapped with a caged beast. A creature such as he was never designed to be locked into a cage. And so the man must devise a way to free himself from his current disposition. Pluto was also mindful of those around. Since like the hollow eyed girl, Pluto also has his own suspicions about others around him. Where the hell is Izanami and wolf when you need them around? Izanami was perhaps key to his sanity at this point in time. The constant internal struggle was exhausting, especially for a man who does not know himself.

It was a tragedy no matter which was one looked at it. In any case, Pluto was hoping that there will be a debrief of sorts. As such he decided to linger a little longer than he would of liked to. And should nothing materialize as to the true purpose of the mission. Then he shall waste no time in moving towards his dorms. The man had classes to attend to.

Hana walked through the portal completely exhausted. She wanted a long hot shower and a long night's rest, however, she could not stop trembling slightly. Hana was so shaken up about what has happened last night. She couldnt get the fear and the blood out of her eyes. But the main reason why she was shaking was because of what happened to that girl who turned into a robot and started attacking shinginami. She sighed softly and rubbed her temples, having a raging headache, as she walked towards her room.... or somewhere... anywhere but the courtyard.

It wasn't long after Jin arrived that Yomotsu made his way over to Izanami, catching a the last few words of what Jin said before Shunpo'ing over to them, closing the large distance in an instant. In his hands were two packed backs, both labeled as Izanami's. On his back, he had a much smaller bag that was his. In his, he had nothing, since he had no material wealth or collections. On his side, he had his Zanpaku-to, almost hidden from view due to his cloak. The males presence was almost hidden, as though he barely existed where he was at the moment. His Reiatsu was so low, that he could have been mistaken for a living human if it weren't for his movements.

When he reached Izanami and Jin, he looked at the two before sitting on the ground and closing his eyes, waiting for his next command. He didn't resent Jin for what he did, but he didn't see much logic to it. His Mistress was the most beautiful being he had ever met, so he could understand why someone would want to look at her. But he didn't get Jin's sudden act of aggression towards him for helping his mistress. He didn't think about it too long, as it wasn't his place to question, only listen. He sat there, meditating while the two beings before him talked, letting his own mind wander to that of his Zanpaku-to and what had happened before.

Who were those three voices? Were they someone from his past? Why didn't they show themselves instead of hiding? And why had his vision been of hunting with Izanami in a frozen tundra? That was the most perplexing of them all for him. He didn't know of any Tundra's, and he didn't even know if his Mistress liked to hunt at all. Were they hunting Hollows? Humans? Or something else? These questions echo'd in his mind while he sat there, trying to come up with answers where none were present.

Yomotsu lowered his head a little, giving his mistress a better angle in which to pet him. He looked back up at her, then to Jin before shaking his head.

"I have not forgotten what you did. But it is not my place to judge your actions. I accept the apology, but I wish to ask that you don't do it again. I do not like seeing my Mistress upset, and what you did caused her to be upset. So please, do not upset her."

He looked at Jin for a few moments before lowering his head back down and waiting. He could only guess if he would take his request seriously, or would treat it as a threat of some kind. He didn't care either way. He didn't want to see Izanami upset anymore. He didn't want to see her cry, to see her eyes bring up the past that they both hated. Yomotsu went back to wondering about his Zanpaku-to, wondering about the three voices again. His eyes became distant to those who looked at him. His breathing slowed to a crawl, and it was clear that he wasn't there anymore. Where he had gone to, only he knew in his head. When Yomotsu opened his eyes, he was back on the tundra. This time, Izanami wasn't there. No one was. He was alone with his thoughts and the snow. He sat down in the snow, pondering for a few moments before getting up and walking around. After what felt like hours walking, he stopped and looked around. Nothing had changed. The landscape hadn't moved at all. He looked behind him at the footprints, only to see there were none. Did he imagine walking while just standing still? Was he not the master of his own mind? His mind wandered again, and the landscape changed. He was back at the academy now, but still no one to be seen. In his hand, his Zapaku-to was drawn. He held it out before him, looking at it before asking that one question that he wanted to know.

"Who are you?"

There was no answer. That didn't make him happy. He wanted answers, and he wanted them soon. He wanted to know what those three voices knew, how much they knew about him, and what they were.
